Patients with mild to moderate sleep apnea, snoring issues, and CPA intolerance are treated with customized oral devices at the ENT Specialty Group. These devices are used to correct patients’ overrelaxed jaw and tongue, cutting off access to the windpipe. Additional discomfort is seldom associated with this form of treatment, and it has a strong record of improvement with our patients. The oral devices used are most commonly a “Mandibular Advancement Device” or a “Tongue Stabilizing Device”. These are both designed to clear the patient’s airway while sleeping and although treatment of sleep apnea and orofacial pain often are paired together, they are not necessarily linked and may require entirely different forms of treatment/oral devices
