Dr. David Chan earned his Medical Degree from the University of Ottawa before going on to complete a rigorous residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at McGill University in Montreal. To further deepen his expertise, he pursued advanced fellowship training at Flinders Medical Center in Adelaide, Australia. There, he sub-specialized in Advanced Rhinology, Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery, and Head and Neck Oncology, gaining extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of complex conditions affecting the sinuses and skull base.
Dr. Chan’s clinical practice encompasses a broad range of ear, nose, and throat (ENT) disorders, with a particular focus on diseases of the nasal sinuses, nasal breathing issues, tumors of the sinuses and skull base, as well as general otolaryngology. In addition to his clinical work, he earned a Master of Science degree from McGill University, where he was actively involved in research. His work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed and internationally recognized medical journals.
Committed to education and mentorship, Dr. Chan plays an active role in training the next generation of physicians. He is deeply involved in teaching both medical students and residents at McGill University, where he is known for his dedication to fostering clinical excellence and advancing knowledge in the field of Otolaryngology.
