Dr. Rickul Varshney is an Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in advanced rhinology and sinus surgery. He currently serves as the site chief of Otolaryngology at Lakeshore Hospital. He also has an appointment at St-Mary’s Hospital. He is a faculty lecturer in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at McGill University.
He completed his medical school training at McGill University. He then completed residency concurrently with a Master of Science degree at McGill University. His research focused on the development of a virtual reality simulator for endoscopic sinus surgery. He then completed a Rhinology & Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at Kaiser Permanente in Orange County, California.
Dr. Varshney’s surgical expertise includes sinus surgery, nasal polyps, septal deviation repair, nasal tumors and treatment for nasal congestion. He is actively involved in research, having authored over 40 peer reviewed scientific journal articles, textbook chapters, and presented at many international conferences. He also teaches medical students and Otolaryngology residents, as a faculty at McGill University.
